A jockey box is an insulated container cooler or an ice chest that has been converted into a keg dispenser using a cold plate or a cooling coil,  which acts as a flash Chiller to quickly cool down your beer as you pour. Jockey boxes use all of the same draft dispensed components as a full-size Kegerator but our small mobile and do not require electrical connection.

Yes, you certainly can! Feel free to add your own touch to any of our pieces, all we ask is that you are decorations do not alter the physical state of the equipment.

The system can be used for your guests to serve themselves or with a full-service bartender or server. Midwest draft company does not currently Supply bartenders or servers.

You should always chill your keg if possible, to avoid serving phony beer. Make sure to keep the keg out of direct sunlight. Once the jockey box has been connected to your direct draw system, Tap The Keg and dispense a small amount of beer before adding ice or ice water to the jockey box. If the ice or ice water is added before filling the coil with beer any water or cleaning chemicals remaining in the coils can freeze and prevent your beer from being dispensed properly.

If you have the DIY bug and want to give it a run, yes you absolutely can. However if you want to save time, money, and 6 1/2 trips to the hardware store, Midwest draft company will take all the work off of your plate just tell us what you have in mind and let our team bring it to life for you.

No, all draft beer bar rentals include delivery and set-up with in a 50 mile radius. If you are further than 50 miles there will be an additional fee of $50 added.
